Hi, I'm Christian. This is my second year on the LASA Debate team. It's already been an amazing experience from learning about environmental policy making and international foreign policy to gaining critical thinking and argument skills to developing life-long friendships with my fellow teammates and the national circuit. Because of the pandemic, debate tournaments last year were almost entirely online, but this year, we have the privilege of traveling around the country to attend national tournaments. Being on the LASA Debate team has made me strongly believe in the purpose of making debate accessible to everyone who wants to participate. With this is mind and due to no school funding, your donation is essential in making that idea possible through funding our volunteer coaches' travel costs and providing scholarships for debate camp!
