I’m turning 40.

That milestone feels both surreal and deeply grounding — a moment to reflect, to celebrate, and to recommit.

To celebrate this new decade, I’m asking for something that means the world to me: your support for the work I’ve dedicated my life to — building a world where minority veterans actually belong, thrive, and lead.

This community has carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. And every single day, I wake up driven by the knowledge that our work isn’t just necessary — it’s urgent. We are fighting for housing, healthcare, safety, dignity, and the right to exist as our full, authentic selves. The stakes are high, but so is the love that fuels this movement.

Turning 40 isn’t just about celebrating a new decade — it’s about deepening my commitment to this work, to our people, and to the future we are building together.
