Since 2006, Abraxas has represented an endless world of extraordinary possibilities, where we create magic and bring authentic and legendary experiences wherever we go. Abraxas wields a unique type of energy, which makes her a destination for many different souls out on the playa. People see it, hear it, feel it, and come from distant far away places just to share a piece of the magic and walk away feeling a sense of belonging and desire to share their joy with their communities.

This year's journey to the playa will be a monumental mission for a multitude of reasons. After the past few years of feeling untethered, while floating in a sea of uncertainty and ambiguity, the theme asks us to start dreaming of the future! It will be the first time in three years for many of us as we set afoot onto that dusty playa floor, which for many years has been a vast container for expression, belonging, and hope. We return to Black Rock City to gather, dance, create, build, laugh, grieve, and feel healed and held.

For all you dragon lovers, dragon riders, dragon tamers, and dragon keepers who consider us your BM family, we ask for your support to help this magical creature called Abraxas to make it out to BRC feeling refreshed, adorned, and awoken from her 3-year slumber. While we are all feeling the enormous weight and uncertainty of this wild and glorious world, we are grateful for every single one of you and your ability to help us out in whatever capacity you sit fit. Over the last several years, we have partnered with Grassroots Aid Partnership, a non-profit organization that is highly involved with disaster relief in places like Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina, Immokalee Florida, and as of recent, the war in Ukraine. GAP will be assisting us with the accounting needs of our fundraisers. Abraxas Dragon is now considered a part of a larger initiative and has been supporting the Grassroots Aid Partnership with resources to help raise the spirits of its disaster relief program. Your donations are considered charitable to a 5013c organization and therefore are tax deductible.
