This campaign is about finishing two books, and inviting a small group of people to help bring them fully into the world.

I’m currently in the final stages of publishing my next book, Delay the Binge™, along with a companion storytelling collection, Branches From the Piney Woods, written under my pen name PJ Hamilton.

The manuscripts are complete. The heart of the work is done.

What remains are the essential publishing steps that turn meaningful manuscripts into finished books: professional editing, production, design, and distribution.

These two books reflect the two sides of the work I’ve spent years developing.

Delay the Binge™ explores the powerful moment when we pause before reacting to unhealthy patterns, whether those patterns show up as food, overwork, control, or other ways we try to quiet deeper pain. The book introduces a simple but transformative framework for interrupting those cycles and choosing differently.

Branches From the Piney Woods continues the storytelling tradition that began with my bestselling memoir From the Piney Woods. Through deeply personal stories rooted in the landscapes and memories of East Texas, these pieces explore resilience, family, loss, faith, and the quiet moments that shape who we become.

One book teaches the pause.
The other tells the stories that made the pause necessary.

Together, they represent the full arc of my work, story and transformation.
