Wickett is a forever foster! He has been with us since day 1. We began fostering him in July 2023 as part of the clear the kennels:) We quickly learned that he is a silent stressor! He doesn’t bark or move around a lot when nervous, he just shakes and has lots of GI issues:(( In December of last year he began to get really sick. The vet told us his heart was so enlarged that he didn’t think he would respond to meds… but Wickett is a fighter and with a lot of extra love, attention, the right cocktail or meds and speciality foods he responded and is thriving! His medications and foods are pretty expensive and Lionel’s decided that in Wickett’s best interest he would be a forever foster and live his remaining days with us ❤️ Wickett is forever grateful to Lionel’s Legacy for giving him a second chance at life and he is loving his beach walks, chilling at the bars, his bike rides, spa days, and just being LOVED 🐾
