Fund Drive Spring 2024

LMVFR is proud to provide award winning fire, rescue, and water rescue operations for our community. Our volunteers are trained extensively and are fully certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Behind the scenes, there seems to be a never-ending need for equipment improvements, maintenance, training, and administrative function. There is also an increasing need for fire and rescue facilities at Lake Monticello and surrounding County area as the population grows and commercial development spreads. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, more than 200 unpaid, fully trained volunteers with professional credentials are ready to answer your fire, rescue, or water rescue emergency call.
