I am very excited to announce the success of our Danvers DECA chapter during this 2023-2024 school year. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA Inc. is composed of over 255,000 members in 4,000 schools across the globe.

The Danvers DECA Chapter has over 230 members of students between grades 9-12. This year 130 members qualified and competed at the state competition, held in March at the Boston Copley and Hynes Convention Center. At this competition over 3,500 students participated for a chance to compete at the International level in Anaheim at the end of April. We are THRILLED to announce 40 students qualified for this amazing experience.

However, with the high cost of competition we are looking for local businesses to help support students and give them the opportunity to achieve their goals for success. The cost per student is $1,200 and in many cases unattainable without outside support. Each student will be engaging in competition through written events or attending leadership academies. This conference will have a profound impact on every student who has the opportunity to attend.

In order to reduce the cost for students we are looking to local businesses for support. With your help we can allow our DECA members to become academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, and experienced leaders through their attendance of the global conference this spring. Your individual or business donations will go directly to support our students.

DECA is a 501c3 and all donations are tax deductible.

Every dollar brings us closer to our goal, so whether you sponsor an entire student’s trip with a $1,200 donation or donate one single dollar, we are in your debt. This financial contribution is an investment in the educational development of our community and your generosity is greatly appreciated.
