Thanks to you, L'Arche North Carolina has been able to lay the foundation for something truly transformative. The L'Arche House is ready to welcome Core Members, and through our programs, over 530 individuals have already experienced the warmth of inclusion, belonging, and dignity.

Because of your support, we are creating a community where compassion and connection are shared and known. Yet, as we look ahead to the exciting future we’ve worked so hard to create, we face some critical challenges. North Carolina’s funding for services like ours currently covers only 40.56% of the costs required to provide the care and support our core members deserve. This means that much of the work we do depends on your generosity.

We all know that the Triangle needs L'Arche to model the highest levels of care and compassion. Our community represents the vision of a society where every person, regardless of ability, is welcomed, supported, and celebrated. But it’s not enough to simply have a vision; we need the resources to make it real.

Right now, we have a critical need to meet both one-time startup expenses and ongoing operational costs to ensure that the L'Arche House isn’t just a home, but a sustainable, thriving community for years to come.
