Founded on the belief that rescued horses and people in need can save one another, Lucky Orphans provides lifelong care to horses who have been neglected, abused, or retired from careers such as racing. These horses, once overlooked or forgotten, go on to become powerful partners in healing for humans facing trauma, stress, and life transitions.

Our herd supports veterans, first responders, women, youth, and individuals navigating mental, emotional, physical, and developmental challenges through thoughtfully designed equine-assisted experiences. The work is quiet, relational, and deeply impactful—built on trust, presence, and connection rather than words.
