Our VBB Kadzakalowa Library serves approximately 350 students, throughout eight communities in central Malawi. Located in a largely agricultural area where the majority of people work as farmers, some of our learners walk as far as 3 hours one way to visit the library.

Like in most of Malawi, schools in this area lack basic educational resources such as books, computers and internet access. And with an average student to teacher ratio of 70:1, there is little to no individualized instruction. Our VBB Library helps to bridge these gaps. With over 3000 books, 13 working computers, internet and original VBB online programming, students who use the library have access to learning materials and workspaces that are otherwise unavailable.
