The Alton Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. will host its biennial cotillion on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 5:00 PM at the Premier Best Western in Alton, Illinois. This year's theme is “Jewels of Distinction," which embodies all seven of our 2024 debutantes.

Our 2024 Jewels court comprises Debutantes: Cameron Conwell, Wren Crawford, Elonna Hickman, Ava Sanders, Trista White, Shitalia Womack and A'Kiyah Young.

In preparation for the cotillion, their formal debut to society, each debutante has participated in educational opportunities related to etiquette, finance, self-esteem, and self-preparedness. Most importantly, they have each had the opportunity to give back to our community through mentoring and service. The cotillion is the culminating event that allows the community to celebrate each of them as they are formally introduced to society.
