Story

My Autism Connection (MAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for autistic adults ages 18-50, serving SWFL with our home office in Ft. Myers. MAC connects individuals with ASD to their communities through social and experiential learning to build healthy relationships and transition towards independence for work and life. As services for autistic individuals fade upon adulthood, MAC fills the need for support in these three vital areas: social engagement, skill-building, and career development.

Join us in celebrating MAC's 10th Birthday! Over the last 10 years, MAC has worked towards supporting autistic adults in the transition from dependence to independence. What started as a conversation between families and two autistic adults who recognized a need for continuing support beyond high school, has turned into a resource for the SWFL community and beyond, providing opportunities for autistic adults to achieve independence. While MAC continues to provide services and resources to the autism community, we have more to accomplish in order to ensure every autistic adult is given an opportunity to succeed.
