Bubbles 2025 Sponsorship

Bubbles wasn’t as lucky as Norma. He did end up at the Joshua Tree Tortoise Rescue and was part of a massive rescue effort led by Amy Keeler. He was one of the larger torts that made it out alive and we took him in as a foster. He was in very poor health and needed to be tube fed for months until he regained his strength. After nursing him back to health, we had formed such a bond with him he stayed with us and is now neighbours with Norma. 

He is a little less social than Norma, but on chilly mornings he loves to have his head and neck held by warm hands, he’s incredibly strong, and he will never be starved or neglected again. 

Sponsorship covers his basic monthly care costs, totaling $1,020 per year. Anything extra raised goes towards the vet fund. 

Monthly Feed Costs: $20 hay, $50 fresh produce, $15 supplements.
