About Lace to Liberation

Lace to Liberation is a Trans-led foundation committed to providing shoes and other essential resources to those within the Chicagoland LGBTQ+ community. The Lace to Liberation Foundation was founded by Beverly Ross, who is a trans rights advocate, activist, and beauty influencer. Beverly hopes to create equity through reducing shoes and clothing insecurity as barriers to sustainable living.

The Importance of our Mission

Addressing shoe insecurities is a crucial step in providing support and dignity to homeless LGBTQ+ individuals. Initiatives that provide access to clean, well-fitting footwear can make a significant difference in their overall well-being.

How will your donation help?

Lace to Liberation purchases new shoes and receives donations of new or gently used shoes. All donations will go towards the purchase of shoes and other necessities for LGBTQ youth in the Chicagioland area. A portion of your donation will support the operating costs of Lace to Liberation Inc.
