As a working parent I rely so much on the loving environments providers like Launch create for my children outside of our home. Parents need these services in order to be economically empowered, and the more supportive and loving adults in a child's life the more likely they are to experience happiness and success later in life. Launch has provided this care in Seattle for 45 years, and has recently shifted its focus to not only directly serving students and families but being a fierce agent of change to make sure childcare in our community is equitable, sustainable, and multicultural. I am fundraising because I know each dollar will be used by the powerful leaders at Launch, who have deep education experience and community connection, toward ensuring children in our area have what they need to ignite their own brilliant futures.
