GREAT NEWS! Your girl is going to Yale School of Drama! But I need your help thriving while I'm there!

Acting has been my biggest teacher, most profound lover, and safe place for the last 15 years. What started as merely a daydream in my childhood bedroom, has manifested into a career full of potential and opportunity. While I am proud of the progress I've made, I know I have so much more to offer and there is only one program I trust to assist me with this. Yale School of Drama is the most elite MFA Acting program on the planet, literally! Alumni of the life-changing program include Meryl Streep, Angela Basset, Lupita Nyong'o, and in May of 2025, ME!!! That's right! Of over 2,000 global applicants, only 16 are accepted and I am thrilled to say that I will be attending in the Fall of 2022!

Although I am incredibly excited for this next phase of my journey, I can't help but think of the overwhelming financial burden higher education carries. While I have been blessed with a full-tuition scholarship, I am still fully responsible for all of my living expenses. As a full-time student, classes take place from Monday through Saturday, with rehearsals going late into the evening - so I won't have any time to work a job that pays a livable wage. Your help will allow me to cover some of my expenses for the year. These expenses include moving costs, rent, bills, and transportation. An outline of these expenses is below.

Rent: $1300 per month (x9)

Bills: $350 per month (X9)

Transportation: $125 per month (x9)

Moving Fees: $1500 (x1)

Total: $17,475

Anything you can offer to help with these expenses will be more than appreciated. I have always worked for everything I have so asking for help in this way is new for me, but I know I have a community that believes in me and will support me to the best of their abilities.
