Adopting from Colombia!

The Layendeckers are adopting!! Aaron and Mallory live with their 3 kids in Independence, Missouri. Aaron teaches high school Spanish, coaches tennis, and is the district chairperson for the Modern Language department. Mallory is a part time teaching assistant and spends the rest of her time taking care of their children, Ainsley (6), Matilda (4), and Milo (2).

Aaron and Mallory are excited to adopt from Colombia and to raise their children to know the value of diversity. They want their children to grow up loving to travel and learn about other cultures, knowing how to have empathy and compassion for all people. They want their family to be a reflection of their love for Jesus Christ.

A major reason the Layendeckers are adopting from Colombia is because Aaron is fluent in Spanish and the community they live has many Latino influences. They would love to help their new child preserve some of their culture, while also joining their family and becoming a Layendecker.
