Hello, I’m Tamara, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of the Accessibility Accelerator #AccessibleTogether 2025, where I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro! I embrace life with a deep passion and hold a special place for everyone I will meet on this extraordinary journey. Two guiding principles shape my path: to love without judgment and to believe that, in order to build a better world, we need each other. I also firmly believe that no matter the disability—whether physical, cognitive, or emotional—life should be embraced to the fullest, because this one beautiful life is a gift we should treasure. No number of fractures, setbacks, surgeries, hospital visits, naysayers, challenges, or societal stigmas has ever stopped me. Now, I’m beyond excited to embark on the adventure of a lifetime: climbing the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro with an inspiring group of fellow trekkers. Reaching the Roof of Africa is a rare and incredible opportunity, and I’m determined to make the most of it!
