In celebration of Women's History Month, on March 15th, Girls Growing Gracefully will partner with The DIVA Effect, to host our 3rd annual Girl Empowerment Workshop.

This event will be engaging, educational, empowering, and an opportunity to expose girls K5-12 to leadership, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. Through fun, yet informative hands-on exercises, the girls will learn how to be effective communicators and leaders and create and manage their businesses. They will learn how to amplify their voices and gain confidence during our public speaking session. They will then use their creativity and learn new skills during our canvas shoe making activity, led by a local, inspiring and innovative female fashion designer.

Both organizations are committed to caring for our communities and believe in the importance of teaching the value of stewardship through giving back. As part of the experience, we ask that each participant bring a pair of gently used shoes that will be donated to a deserving young girl.
