About Leaders on the Links Golf Classic

Leaders on the Links was born from a simple, yet powerful idea sparked by one man—Stang, a member of F3 The Fort. What began as a casual golf outing with a few PAX—meant to raise a little money for a cause and build camaraderie—quickly grew into something much bigger.

From that first round, a movement began. The event gained momentum as other men stepped up—not just to play, but to lead. What was once “Shanking with Stang” has evolved into, a premier annual golf tournament uniting members of F3 (PAX), business professionals, community leaders, and volunteers around a shared purpose: to lead with service and generosity.

Leaders on the Links is a signature event of the F3 The Fort Hands & Feet Initiative, which mobilizes men to put faith into action—serving others, meeting real needs, and strengthening the community through fundraising and service projects.

This tournament has been a cornerstone in raising over $165,000 for local charities and families in need, channeling the values of Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith into real-world change.

But this event isn’t just about fundraising—it’s about multiplying leadership. When one man leads, others follow. And when leaders unite with purpose, communities change.

About the F3 Fort Mill Community Scholarship

The F3 Fort Mill Community Scholarship is a merit-based award established to recognize and support outstanding graduating seniors in the Fort Mill School District. Each year, students from each of the district high schools are selected to receive a $1,500 scholarship to pursue a two- or four-year college education.

This scholarship honors students who excel not only in academics but also as engaged, responsible citizens. Recipients are individuals who demonstrate strong character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their community—values at the heart of F3’s mission.
By investing in these young leaders, the F3 Fort Mill Community Scholarship helps open doors to higher education while encouraging continued community involvement and personal growth.

About the Fort Mill Care Center

The Fort Mill Care Center is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit serving the Fort Mill and Tega Cay communities since 1987. Founded by the Fort Mill Ministerial Association, the Care Center was created to coordinate and manage local requests for family assistance.
Our mission is simple: to provide essential support to neighbors in need. Beyond operating as a food pantry, we supply personal hygiene and household cleaning items, and offer assistance with utilities, prescriptions, and emergency dental needs. When we can’t provide direct help, we connect families to other agencies that can.

F3 The Fort has proudly partnered with the Fort Mill Care Center by providing lawn care on a weekly basis as needed, helping restock shelves with vital supplies, contributing monetary donations from time to time, and helping with construction and renovation projects.
The Care Center is funded by the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches, youth groups, and community organizations like F3. These funds help local families with life’s most basic necessities.
