In September of 2019, we opened the doors of Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy, our city’s only single-gender, public charter school, led by a mission to prepare young women to use their voices, to succeed in college, and to lead impactful, meaningful lives.

In this brief time, we’ve coped with a global pandemic, pivoted and rallied support for our students and their families and marked milestones, made even more precious against the adversity at-hand. Today, KC Girls Prep serves more than 150 middle school students on Kansas City’s east side, each a singular success – collectively, young scholars who are poised to move on to high school, equipped to become our leaders of tomorrow.

On Thursday evening, June 15, 2023, at the Loews Kansas City Hotel, we invite you to join us as we celebrate our first four years and fund the programs that will allow our innovative educational approach to soar.
