I'm a survivor of Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Diagnosed at age 38, I battled thru my primary treatment for a year - IV Chemo, Double Modified Radical Mastectomy, 44 rounds of Radiation and a Hysterectomy. I continue to take oral chemo and try to keep my body from crumpling.
Cancer has infiltrated my family - raising fear in my children...and I won't let it defeat them. I fight. We fight.
This is a journey I don't wish on anyone - I'm here to fight for a cure, and to help educate the public...breast cancer isn't always a lump!
