2024 has been an expensive year for the care of the 75 cats and kittens in our care. In the first half of 2024 we have had 7 dentals. Additionally, with many younger kitties in our care, we have had (or continue to treat) 10 cats and 4 kittens for FIP. While the cost of FIP has come down greatly over the years, it still averages about $1000 per adult. Once treated for FIP over 84 days, these kitties have generally done well.

Every dollar donated goes directly to the care of the kitties. We hate to ask for money but these expenses have been hard on our budget for this year so far. The black and white kitty at the top of this page is Kumquat who is an FIP graduate as of 4/29/2024. She is very happy and healthy now, living in our sanctuary.
