Lamar Middle School was built in 1955 and the 500 wing that now hosts the Visual Arts Department is in great need of cabinets to securely store art that students are working on or have completed before competitions like JrVASE.

Currently, the classrooms and hallways do not have any structural storage that prevents student traffic from accessing in-progress projects and keeping art pieces safe. The teachers of the Lamar Visual Arts department are in need of 8-12 free-standing lockable storage cabinets (depending on size) to solve this problem and AISD budgets do not have the means to fund these. As the Booster Club supporting this department, we're hoping to fund as many of these cabinets within the 2024-2025 school year as we can. This online fundraiser allows the students to get involved and help support this effort and will be the only online fundraising event of this school year!

This Booster organization is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit recognized by the IRS. All donations to this fundraiser are qualified charitable contributions according to IRS tax code. Your emailed receipt will contain more details.
