DVAA has been impacted financially by shifts in the funding landscape for the arts, and really needs our support at this time to continue operating.
DVAA has been a welcoming space for artists, and it's also been an active member of the community at large.
DVAA is an active palumbo park member, hosting workshops, coffee chats there; the staff is always turning out for love your park, and rolling up their sleeves.
The staff is also an active member of Bella Vista Neighbors, Sam having moderating panels for our general meetings, Sam and Veronica often tabling with us at street festivals and community meetups at places like morning glory, and occasionally even hosting our events, from meetings to concerts.
DVAA has been a physical drop off point for collecting community resources, produced block parties filled with sustainability vendors, and hosted discussion panels on topics like school funding.
This modest rowhome building and small but mighty team working out of it have played an important role in our community, and have a rich immigrant history going back nearly a century.
If you are able, they could use your support at this time.
