We need $25,000 to purchase land for a future multipurpose Life Child Early Childhood Development Centre and Life Church Campus.

We have identified land to purchase (3300m2) to support children, families, and the wider community by constructing a permanent Life Church building and holistic ECD (early childhood development centre) in Domboshava, a peri-urban residential area in the province of Mashonaland East, Zimbabwe.  A photo of the land parcel is below:

I, Edson, and my wife, Talent Bengura, are Zimbabwean pastors within Life Church and planted Life Church Harare in January 2018. The planting of the church came at a time of chaos and disruption in the country, following a quick and unconventional transfer of power between political leaders. The 37-year rule of former President Mugabe had been demanded to end through peaceful military action. This change only served to exacerbate further the dire economic situation of Zimbabwe, which continues to face runaway inflation and high unemployment. 

Our extended team of African church-planters knows that our faith must inspire action! Our founders envisioned faith and tangible action complementing each other so that they could reach orphan and vulnerable children and restore communities for generational change, one life at a time.

FAITH IN ACTION!

I am putting my faith into action, and as part of our fundraising efforts for this initiative, I and a team of Life Child Champions from Zimbabwe and South Africa will be participating in the Victoria Falls Marathon (https://www.vicfallsmarathon.com) on the 7th of July 2024. We will be running the half marathon and have already been training hard!
