The Women’s Education and Leadership League (WELL), is one of three national finalists for the Catalyst Award in the 16th Annual Invest in Others Awards. The Invest in Others Awards program recognizes the charitable work of financial advisors in communities across the country and around the world.

WELL provides financial literacy, leadership skills and mentorship to marginalized women through their 5-week Living WELL program. Coupled with a mentorship program, WELL aims to break the grips of generational poverty for the women they serve and their children.

Our dream should we win this award is to utilize the proceeds to launch a partnership with the Downtown Streets Team and serve homeless women at each of their 17 locations across California. This collaboration will consist of sponsoring women and enabling them to participate in our 5-week Living WELL program where they will learn financial literacy, wellness education and leadership skills.

Part of the metrics for winning this award is to begin raising part of the funds needed to serve the women of the Downtown Streets Team.
