Dear Community Hall Members:

The board is excited to report that construction began on the hall renovation in November. Work is expected to be completed in full by July 2026. This phase includes a new HVAC system (yes air conditioning!!), furring in, insulation and finishing of interior walls, insulation of ceiling , addition of acoustic ceiling and all new lighting, new flooring, and a new vestibule entry on the south side of the building with ADA compliant entry doors, new windows in the food bank, as well as the stage area was removed and a new portable stage system has been purchased. Thanks to 3 Rivers for a new meeting conference system including TV’s & speakers. This phase is a huge part of the renovation and the board is anxious to be able to share the finished construction with the community at a celebration this fall.

Due to the construction, the board has decided to postpone the 57TH Annual Meeting of the Fairfield Community Civic and Recreation, Inc. to coincide with the celebration, it is normally held in March. A family friendly celebration and annual meeting will be on September 12, 2026 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with events for the kids, dinner at 6:00, followed by a short program and dance. Plans will be shared in the local papers as well as on the Fairfield Community Hall Facebook page. Please watch for updates and we look forward to seeing the community members at that time. Operations reports and any business pertaining to the hall will be conducted at that meeting. Diana Giles and Logan Clark have served their 1st 3 year terms. They are eligible to run for a 2nd - 3 year term, election will be held for these positions.

The financial committee continues to work with community members in pursuing tax-deductible donations as well as applying for grants, some of which have been approved and received. We continue to pursue donations so the full financial goal can be met as the board made the decision to obtain a line of credit with the help of 1st Bank of MT for the amount that we are short, so continued fund raising will be needed to make the loan payments.

Additionally there is an option to make a special donation for the renovation project! Your special donation can be dedicated to individuals for birthdays, memorials or any other special occasion! PLEASE PROVIDE NAME AND ADDRESS OF RECIPIENT AND MESSAGE FOR CARD. YOUR DONATION IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE, AS THE HALL IS A 501©(3) ENTITY, PLEASE REQUEST A GIFT RECEIPT.
