Loki and Brutus spent their lives outside in North Carolina, neglected and in pain. Their nails are so overgrown it hurts to walk. Both have large masses on their bodies—we’re awaiting biopsy results, but surgery will be needed either way. Their teeth are rotting, and Loki is battling ringworm and painful skin infections.

They’ve clearly been suffering for a long time. But now they’re safe—and we’re doing everything we can to give them the comfort and care they’ve always deserved.
