Buddy Benches by the Beach

Join us for a fun-filled beach day where creativity meets community! We're donating Buddy Benches to the local elementary schools and we need your child's creativity to bring them to life! Kids will decorate wooden slats that will be attached to the benches as a lasting symbol of kindness and inclusion.

There is no cost to attend, but donations are welcome to help support the cause. If you and/or your business would like to become an official Buddy Bench sponsor, please reach out directly via email at TheLondonProject2025@gmail.com or by phone at 631-949-4304. All benches will include a plaque honoring each sponsor or donor, as a lasting symbol of kindness and inclusion.

What's a "Buddy Bench"?

It's a special bench placed on a school playground or other place in the community, where a child can sit if they're feeling lonely or if they don't have someone to play with. It's a signal to others that they could use a friend. It helps promote kindness, empathy, and inclusion. It encourages children to look out for one another and make sure no one feels left out.
