Rare Disease Day is February 28th, and each year, we come together to raise awareness and funds for Glut1 Deficiency Syndrome— a rare disorder that Joseph bravely faces everyday. This condition presents daily challenges, but it doesn’t stop Joseph from embracing life with joy, determination, and a little mischief!

Everyone here knows Joe’s smile can light up a room. He is all heart and all love. Nothing makes him happier than heading upstate to ride four-wheelers, enjoying big plates of pasta, sneaking sodas when he thinks no one’s looking, and blasting his favorite music. Despite the challenges of Glut1 Joe embraces life with so much Joy- it’s impossible not to be inspired by him.
