Your gift allows Avenue's Real Estate Development team to continue to build and maintain affordable homes for purchase and for rent.

Safe, stable, and affordable housing in many ways is like preventive care, reducing the risk and likelihood of both displacement and poor health. When families are uprooted and displaced, connections between neighbors and other sources of community support are severed. Displacement causes trauma not just individually, but at the community level, which has negative consequences for people’s health.

Since 1991, Avenue has built or redeveloped over 700 affordable apartment rentals and build nearly 300 new homes for purchase.

Current and Upcoming Projects:

• Completion of 17 homes for purchase at Avenue Park in the Northline area
• Rehab and updates to Washington Courtyards apartments - Built in 2000 and Avenue's first newly built multi-family project
• Maintenance to our affordable apartments to endure rental homes provide safe and healthy spaces to thrive
