Mind-1-1 exists to help the world thrive through improving access to mental health resources. Our mission is simple, to create the world's most complete online directory and make it simple to use. While the information is out there, it can be extremely difficult to find - that's a problem for the support groups of the world. The for-profit directories focus on exactly that, what can make them money. That's not a problem, but what about all the other available resources? What about the valuable little guy? 

Mind-1-1 is commited to bringing all the available resources to you no matter how big or small. And because we're a nonprofit we can focus on making a simple to use directory that will include the local therapists, the big insurance, and the little church focus group to you all in the same search. 

Why donate? While we're young, we're definitely not just getting started. We're already on the second build of our site, and we've received substantial grants from the City of Long Beach, Nordstrom, and even Walmart. A small team of talented developers are coding our site to be fast, modern, and most importantly easy to use, and our board of directors is a diverse group of talented professionals.

Mind-1-1's founder is a licensed therapist and a social worker who realized immediately that Mind-1-1 would need to be treated as a tech focused nonprofit to succeed. As a result she went to work finding top tech talent who not only see her vision for an amazing platform, but who already were connected to the importance of mental health.
