AfroResistance stands in solidarity with the courageous Black feminist activists in Esmeraldas, Ecuador

We are reaching out to share the inspiring story of a group of Black Women who are at the forefront of advocating for gender equality and dismantling patriarchal structures in Esmeraldas, Ecuador. These courageous Black feminist activists are deeply committed to creating positive change in their community.

Currently, they face a significant challenge. Due to regional political instability, their operations and the support systems they rely on are severely impacted. Many of these activists are the primary caregivers in their families, including single mothers and women responsible for relatives with disabilities. The financial strain they are experiencing is not just a setback; it threatens their livelihoods and their mission.

Why supporting them is critical?

We are helping to raise $15,000 to support these activists in navigating this crisis and continue their vital work. Your contribution can help provide essential support such as salaries, community programs, and operational costs, which are crucial for sustaining their efforts.

Impact of Your Donation:

$50 helps provide a week’s worth of meals for one activist and her family.

$100 contributes towards emergency medical funds.

$250 supports community outreach programs for a month.

$500 ensures a month's rent for their community meeting and support spaces.

Your Contribution Makes a Difference

By donating today, you are not just offering financial support—you are affirming your commitment to justice, equality, and the empowerment of marginalized voices.

Please consider making a donation through our [donation link]. No amount is too small, and every contribution brings us closer to our goal of $15,000 to empower and sustain these critical feminist initiatives.

Thank you for your generosity and for standing with us in support of a more equitable future.

With gratitude,
