In the interest of transparency: A small portion of cash donations are used to host the Ride for the Kids Event in December. This event raises a large amount of funds for the charity as well as a significant number of toys., thanks to the generosity of the people who ride in the event.

The bulk of all donations are provided directly to the local verified 501(c)(3) charities to provide Christmas gifts to the children they serve. Toys collected prior to and at the event are also given to the local charities for distribution.

All persons associated with the TriCounty Toy Run are unpaid volunteers. Costs for the event are kept to the minimum possible - as prices vary, and we do not know in advance the total of donations that will be received, we cannot provide a percentage in advance.

Donations received after the event will be distributed if possible or may be held to use for the next year's event.
