Tanzania 2026: Educate, Inspire, Empower
Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa
Tanzania is one of the most impoverished countries in the world
A lack of a proper education lowers the chances for sustainable employment.
🌍 YOU Life Skills and Leadership Educational Foundation, The Nguzo Women and Youth Foundation, Godchild Community Center, and MOTO are teaming up for a transformative mission in Moshi, Tanzania. Our 2026 initiative, Educate ~ Inspire ~ Empower, aims to address the critical challenges Tanzanian youth face in education.
Our endeavor seeks to address and put into place the solutions for the following challenges:
High dropout rates in schools are exacerbated by the stigmatization surrounding adolescent girls' menstruation cycles and widespread isolation in Tanzania
Increased violence among students, limited opportunities for higher education, and decreased community engagement, which creates a lack of training, programs, and support.
Our initiative aims to achieve the following objectives:
Strengthen and enhance current health and environmental training in primary/secondary schools in the Kilimanjaro region, facilitating effective student engagement on health and environmental sustainability.
Education of primary and secondary school adolescent girls and boys on sexual reproductive health, life skills, and anti-bullying tools through in-school programs, alongside vocational and entrepreneurship training through youth clubs and young women groups.
Support for the creation and distribution of hygiene kits for adolescent girls in and out of schools in the Kilimanjaro Region, including the donation of sewing machines and materials necessary to enable them to produce their own hygiene products.
YOU can help Tanzanian Youth do what they don't have the means to do for themselves.
Suggested donation: $5.00 per month, dedicated specifically to internet usage.
