In Loving Memory of Lynn Nielsen

In Memory of Lynn Nielsen

April 4, 1957 - June 26, 2025

Lynn’s legacy is etched into the lives of the hundreds of women she guided, mentored, and loved into healing. With a heart wide open and a spirit anchored in grace, she walked countless women through the 12 steps, offering not just recovery, but hope, dignity, and a new way to live.
Many of us started our journeys with SPN numbers, lost in the shadows of addiction and incarceration. Lynn met us there—with open arms, deep compassion, and an unshakable belief in our worth. Because of her love and guidance, some of us went on to become Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Registered Nurses, Peer Recovery Coaches, and community leaders. But titles were never the measure of success in Lynn’s eyes. She helped women rediscover their worth as mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends—and to live with gratitude, dignity, and purpose. Her legacy lives in every woman she helped remember she was enough.
She didn’t just help us get clean; she taught us how to live with integrity, to love ourselves and others, and to serve the next woman still suffering. Her influence will ripple through generations, because she poured herself into our lives with fearless love.
To say she saved lives is not enough—Lynn restored them. And in doing so, she changed the world, one woman at a time
There will be a beautiful celebration of life on October 4, 2025 at the 1880 Garten Verein, located at 2704 Avenue O, Galveston, TX 77550-6866

Thank you for celebrating her life with a gift of hope.
