Military Appreciation Dance with Mike’s Garage Band

American Legion Post 543 invites the community to a Military Appreciation Dance featuring Mike’s Garage Band, an evening of music, dancing, and recognition of the men and women who have served our nation.

Post 543 works year-round to enhance the well-being of veterans, their families, and youth in our community. The Post provides direct support to active-duty service members across Eastern North Carolina and assists more than 100 veterans annually in navigating challenges and accessing benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs and other organizations.

The Post also provides an Honor Guard to ensure veterans receive proper Military Funeral Honors and supports multiple local youth programs which promote teamwork, leadership, and citizenship.

Events like this bring the community together while supporting the more than 70 programs and services provided by American Legion Post 543. Join us for an evening of music, fellowship, and appreciation for those who have served.
