MAE'S GALA IS BACK!

This year, funds raised will be even more impactful—after a year of our community dealing with COVID-19 many more people are now experiencing homelessness and facing the potential of being at risk of homelessness. Our cause is more important now than it ever has been before.

All funds raised this year will be distributed to the Wellness Center we recently opened in Cranston, RI. At this Wellness Center, we look forward to being able to provide incredibly necessary mental health programs, as well as programs to assist those suffering from drug and opioid addiction—unfortunately, the figures of individuals suffering from the debilitating disease of opioid addiction have been on the rise since the onset of the pandemic, as well. Through our services, clients will have access to support, counseling, individual and group holistic therapies. Here, clients will also be able to access a pop-up shop where they can get clothing and toiletries—and, in the future, we hope to be able to provide free monthly haircuts for all clients.

Don’t worry about the drive home—just book a room for a discounted rate and spend the whole weekend partying! Times are tough. We totally get it. I’m sure by now you’re wondering, “okay….but what sets this apart from the other events I could be attending?”:To start—our COCKTAIL hour: you will enjoy a complimentary wine bar, and appetizers cooked on-site by local celebrity chef, Frank Terranova (featured on Cooking With Class on WJAR)We’ll have special guest MCs Barbara Morse and Mario Hilario, of NBC10, with us all night, too! Other highlights for the evening include: DJ Valentina Cafferky Marianetti, a ballet performance, a special Mae video presentation, both a live and silent auction, and dinner with complimentary wine.

Items you can expect to be up for bid at the auction include:•A Trip to Portugal •Myrtle Beach vacation•Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride •Birds Eye View Helicopter ride over Newport with an amazing picnic including a charcuterie board and bottle of Champagne We can’t wait to spend this evening with family, great friends, our amazing supporters and our community!
