MASKA Fund
Your generous support ensures these incredible dogs get the care they need to become someone’s everyday hero!

Veterinary care for PawPADs' service dogs in-training can exceed $25,000 annually and can wreak havoc on the finances needed to maintain our training programs. The MASKA funds primary purpose is to ensure that financial constraints do not impede necessary veterinary care, ensuring that our service dogs in-training receive the essential veterinary services and medical attention they need. These costs can range from routine check-ups and vaccinations to more urgent and unexpected treatments, such as surgeries or medications. For instance, the fund could cover the expense of an emergency surgery after an accident or provide support for ear infections or dental issues, ensuring our service dogs in-training are healthy and happy when they are partnered with their humans!
Torn Nail Cut-Back: $250
Ear Infection Treatment: $150
Flea & Tick Preventatives for year: $350
Emergency surgery for: >$4000
* Maska was a PawPADs service dog in-training who came to us as a rescue but had health challenges during his time with us. He crossed over the bridge February 16, 2012 after a struggle with bloat. He was one of the volunteer's favorites and, at the time, was the "face" of our Paw Corps veterans program. He will always be missed...
