7/2/24: New Community Vision Hosted Property Walks

Add to Calendar 2024-07-02 10:00:00 2024-07-02 11:30:00 America/New_York 7/2/24: New Community Vision Hosted Property Walks Join the New Community Vision team on a hosted, guided walk of the former Timber Shores property. Each walk will be led by NCV board members and will highlight the important environmental and natural features of the property. Each walk will be kept to a small group size (10), about 1.5 hours in duration and follow an approximately 1.5 mile, mostly flat loop trail. The Tuesday, July 2 walk will be hosted and led by NCV board members Beth Verhey and Andy Thomas. This walk will feature ancillary docents Brett Fessell, Restoration Section Leader, and/or Naomi Louchouarn with the Natural Resources Department of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. To sign up, click the blue Donate and Tickets button to the right. NCV property tours are free; reserving a free “ticket” is the system to sign up. The sign up form pages include options to add a donation and a check box for the liability waiver below. All donations and pledges are needed to help us succeed in this once in a generation opportunity to save and protect this property for our community!
