HELP US INSTALL PERMANENT KENNEL FLOORS 🐶🧱

At M&B Farm & Hatchery Inc., our kennels are used every day for rescue dogs and our working dogs in rotation. We clean them daily and regularly replace the mulch to provide every dog with a clean, sanitary place to rest. Now it’s time for the next step — permanent flooring to support long-term sanitation, comfort, and efficiency.

We explored several flooring options:

🔹 Concrete wasn’t realistic due to limited access for machinery and the drying period — we would need double the number of kennels to relocate every dog while it cures.
🔹 Wooden platforms would be more expensive and would not hold up under daily sanitation and moisture.

After comparing everything, paver flooring is the safest, strongest, and most affordable long-term solution — and will last for years for both rescue care and working-dog rotation.

🧡 The dogs will not be lying directly on the pavers — once installed, we will be placing thick rubber horse stall mats on top. The pavers provide a solid, level foundation underneath, so daily disinfecting stays fast, safe, and consistent.

📏 Two paver sizes fit perfectly — supporters can donate either

Each kennel is 10 ft × 10 ft, and only two paver sizes fit exactly with zero cutting and zero overhang:

✔ 12×12 is the lower-cost option
✔ 20×20 is more expensive, but much less work to install (only 36 stones instead of 100)

Supporters are welcome to donate either size — both are perfect.
We have nine kennels to complete in total.
