At the Macoupin Center for the Developmentally Disabled (MCDD), we believe everyone deserves the chance to learn, grow, and belong — no matter their circumstances.

Right now, our Scholarship Fund makes it possible for three amazing students to attend MCDD. Each of these students has faced unimaginable loss — they’ve lost their parents and have no family to help care for them. They now live in supportive group homes, such as sheltered care or CILA homes, where staff provide daily assistance.

For them, MCDD isn’t just a place to go during the day — it’s a place to belong.
It’s where they learn new skills, make friends, and experience joy and community every single day.

But attending MCDD comes with a monthly tuition cost:

💙 $350 per month for a full-time student
💚 $175 per month for a part-time student

Without scholarship support, these students simply wouldn’t have the means to participate.

In past years, generous community support helped sustain our scholarship fund. Unfortunately, this year those funds have been fully used to meet student needs, and the fund is now nearly depleted.
