In 2026, Friends of Firefighters is partnering with Livestrong to provide expert led, culturally relevant, cancer wellness resources for firefighters that address their unique physical and mental health needs.

CancerFit is a virtual personal training session that can be attended from home, or with community at the Friends of Firefighters firehouse in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

2026 CancerFit Hybrid Personal Training

In partnership through LiveStrong, CancerFit provides hybrid personal training to cancer survivors in the firefighting community, led by a retired first responder who is a survivor himself.
