HOLIDAY SUPPORT TOY DRIVE 2025

Thank you for your support of our local families in need this holiday season. We sincerely appreciate your consideration in making a financial gift and/or a donation of a new, unwrapped toy(s) or gift card (Target/Walmart - $25 increments please) for our Holiday Support Program.

The toys and gift cards will be provided to clients served by the Matthews HELP Center to select for their children and teens for the holidays. Clients will register with us and will then be given a budgeted amount to "spend" on toys, games etc. that have been priced at drastically reduced amounts. This provides a budgeting exercise for clients as they are able to select the items, but have to stay within the amount given.  There is no charge for our clients to "shop" for these gifts. It is a wonderful way for families experiencing a rough patch, to be able to provide a bit of joy for their children during the holidays.

Your financial gift will help to provide financial assistance (rent, utilities and childcare) for local families facing eviction and utility disconnection due to a recent crisis in their lives. The crisis may be the loss of a job, a medical crisis or reduced hours at work, and families are struggling to make ends meet.
