MaxLove Project needs your support now more than ever.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and the strength of our community, we navigated the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath. However, fundraising has become increasingly difficult since 2021.

We are facing a perfect storm of challenges: unfavorable tax laws for giving (instituted in 2017), household giving is down 25%, rising inflation post-pandemic, and heightened competition among numerous important causes. Additionally, the trend of funding individuals over nonprofits, the upcoming election season, and a combination of giving to and limited disbursements from Donor Advised Funds and Private Foundations have left small nonprofits like ours struggling to survive.

Our largest fundraiser of the year, the Farm to Fork App-Off, raised an impressive $265,000. However, this amount falls short of our fundamental need by $100,000. If we do not raise this critical amount by December 31st, we will be unable to continue offering our vital programs and support into 2025 until new funding comes in.
