Back in 2021 I found Marisa’s Mission when I was searching for a way to cope with a family member’s cancer diagnosis. That year I started running the Falmouth Road Race with them and never looked back. Marisa’s Mission has granted families dealt with a cancer diagnosis over 1 million dollars in grants - that’s HUGE! With the help of all of you and the ten marathon runners for Marisa’s Mission’s DEBUT marathon team  we hope to make an amazing impact of the lives around us effected by cancer. Team Marisa’s Mission is proud to be apart of the 128 th Boston Marathon! We have 10 runners committed to crossing the finish line and raising funds to help patients and families dealing with the devastating diagnosis of cancer.

At Marisa’s Mission, our goal is to keep the spirit of our namesake, Marisa Federico, alive by alleviating the financial burdens caused by cancer to patients and families through out Massachusetts. We provide hope, support, and the means to focus on what matters most: their health and well being as a family. Marisa’s Mission grants upwards of $10,000 per patient/family through four major programs: Home Assistance, Care, Travel/Lodging and Special Trips. We understand the turmoil caused by this disease and how it not only impacts the individual, but also extends its reach to the entire family. Since 2017, we have been fortunate enough to grant over 1 Million dollars worth of support to patients, families, and hospitals across Massachusetts.
