❄️ Help Keep Figgy Farm Cozy This Winter ❄️
Winter is coming, and we’re getting ready to keep every rescued heart at Figgy Farm warm, safe, and well-fed. ❄️
As temperatures drop, our animals depend on us more than ever. The pigs eat almost three times more to stay warm, all the barns need deep straw bedding, and everyone relies on cozy, insulated spaces to get through those freezing nights.
We’re hoping to stock up before the real cold sets in, and we could use your help.
Here’s what we need to get ready for winter:
🐷 50 bales of straw ($8 each) — for soft, warm bedding
🐑 50 bales of hay ($5 each) — to feed the sheep & pigs and provide comfort
🐽 A pallet of pig feed ($400) — because full bellies = warm pigs
🚪 Rubber barn door flaps & other supplies ($250) — to help block cold winds
Every single dollar helps keep someone warm, full, and cared for.
Your kindness literally turns into comfort, and helps us get through the freezing, snowy Kentucky winter.
We also took seven of our feline and canine friends in for their core vaccines today, and we really need to get that $370 vet bill covered.
Our total goal is $1,700 to get Figgy Farm fully stocked for winter and cover this vet care.
Can you help us tuck everyone in for the season? ⛄
It’s never easy coming on here and asking for help, especially when we know times are tough for so many. If you can’t give financially, please help by liking, commenting, or sharing our posts so others can see our work. Every bit of support matters.
We have a lot on our plates, and I try to cover everything I possibly can without asking for extra help. But this winter, we have more residents than ever after so many difficult rescue cases. We’re more than willing to do the hard work every day, we just need a little help with the rising costs of keeping everyone safe and warm.
Winter is a tough and expensive season. Please help us get through it with full bellies, warm straw beds, and cozy houses for every one of our rescued babies. 🤍
