Outreach Center Birthday Celebration

It’s my birthday.

Not the cake-and-candles kind—but the kind that marks my first year of doors opening to survivors who come carrying heavy stories.

I’m the Outreach Center. I was created to be a place of safety—
where survivors can breathe,
where advocates sit across tables and truly listen.

Healing is happening here.
Quietly. Through tears. Through relationship.

But here’s the honest part:

I still carry mortgage debt.
Each month, dollars meant for healing go to interest instead.

Here’s the hope: I’m only one year old.
Gifts toward principal right now make a big difference.

A gift today doesn’t celebrate me.
It frees me.

Fewer years paying interest.
More years serving survivors.

So for my birthday, I don’t need candles or bows.
