Hi, my name is Simon Avey and this summer I have the extraordinary opportunity to serve on a missions team to Los Angeles, California. I am beyond excited for this summer and the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and grow my relationship with Christ. I hope to grow closer to God and learn how to love and serve the community around me through hands-on experience. I will be challenged in unique ways to serve in the urban community, talk to strangers, and share the gospel to those around me. This trip is an amazing blessing and I ask for your help and prayers as my team members and I experience this life changing adventure.
